All across America, in all 50 states, in communities, towns and state capitals – a nationwide grass roots display, in unison, across time zones – of textile panels reflecting the hopes and dreams of the American people for this unique country of ours.
​How to Make It Happen:
Local groups are encouraged to organize and display completed panels at prominent community centers, state capitals, and other significant public spaces across the country. Together, these displays will create a powerful state-by-state national exhibit on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Work with members of your community to plan and coordinate your local display. Panels can be easily secured using simple garden stakes and should be constructed with ties or grommets as outlined in the "How to Make a Panel" instructions.​
Apply for Permits (Now):
Permits are often required to reserve capitol buildings or grounds for first amendment activities and grassroots gatherings/displays like this, and without significant costs.
