United We Stitch Textile Panels Exhibit – Part of A Nationwide Initiative - Creating Unity Through Art

[Town, City, Capitol, Sunday, September 20, 2026]

Americans are known for expressing themselves, especially through art.  As one of the oldest artforms, textile arts have illustrated our country’s history for over 250 years.  Tapestries, embroideries, quilting, and more recently mixed media works have served to illustrate our ups and downs as a country and society.  United We Stitch strives to continue this tradition, by bringing citizens together to share their hopes for our democracy’s future through the art of textiles.

Exclusive Viewing: The [Town, City, Capitol] community is invited to view this historic display on September 20, 2026 at [Address] from [time].  The [Town, City, Capitol] display is part the nationwide exhibit taking place in unison, all across America, in all 50 states, in communities, towns and state capitols, across time zones, in honor of the International Day of Peace.
